Bodegas López carries out all the winemaking in its premises (more than 26,000 m2 of covered area), situated in the department of Maipú, Province of Mendoza.

In the last four years, the winery increased its storage and wine aging capacities, counting at this moment on 12,900,000 liters in stainless steel tanks and 5,240,000 in French oak casks and barrels of more than 5,000 liters. It holds a bottle storage among which you will vintages from 1938 up to our days, housed in deep underground cellars away from light and at constant temperatures. It bears a total of 40,000,000 liters in epoxy-coated concrete vats located at large thermally isolated sections.

In order to assure quality winemaking, the winery counts on highest-technology equipment which enables the obtaining of top-quality grapes starting from the vineyards, through hand-picking and transportation in plastic boxes for berries’ integrity preservation. During vintage time, grapes are collected in stainless steel hoppers, destemmed through precision machines and fermented in stainless steel tanks fitted with automatic systems for temperature control.

By means of pneumatic presses, pomace is softly pressed to extract a lees-less liquid.

Bodegas López counts also on a most-modern sparking-winemaking plant, with stainless steel tanks and an isobaric bottling line.
