Finca Flichman
About Finca
Flichman - in their own words: Flichman's grapes are harvested off its 300 hectares of vineyards (out of its total 720 hectares), with noble varietals, of which Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Merlot and Chardonnay are examples. The vineyards extend over two Mendoza regions. One is Barrancas, Maipú department. Its reduced ecosystem, with sunny, dry climate, good thermal amplitude between day and night, and permeable soils, provides ideal conditions for the production of complex and expressive wines. The other, at about 1120 meters altitude, is in the famous Tupungato zone, whose warm days and cool nights and sandy soil with a high proportion of organic matter, make it a privileged area. Expanding its vineyards, incorporating latest generation equipment and technology and constant personnel training have enabled Finca Flichman to make wines of high quality and personality which are quite differentiated and which clearly mark a step in the evolution of fine wines from the New World. |
