Uruguay: Punta del Este Hotel Fasano Las Piedras

The Fasano brand began its international expansion in 2010 with the inauguration of the Hotel Fasano Punta del Este in Uruguay. The chosen scenario to receive the award winning architectural project of Isay Weinfeld was the region of La Barra, in Punta del Este. A preserved area of 490 hectares, which integrates the countryside and the sea in a unique way.

The activities were resumed in December 2016 with the inauguration of the Locanda Fasano, designed by Carolina Proto, a Brazilian architect based in Punta del Este. In this new stage, 10 new apartments and suites were designed, complementing the 20 existing bungalows on the property. The Locanda is located next to the iconic Fasano Restaurant, that offers a breathtaking view of the property and the surrounding nature, with new leisure areas such as a lounge, swimming pool, solarium and bar.

In 2010, the opening of Hotel Fasano Punta del Este, in Uruguay, marked the international expansion of the Fasano brand. With an award-winning architectural project conceived by Isay Weinfeld, which effortlessly interacts with the breathtaking natural landscape, the first Fasano outside of Brazil is widely known as one of the most beautiful resorts in the world. Overlooking the Maldonado river, the property occupies a preserved area of 490 hectares in the heart of La Barra.

After undergoing an expansion project, the hotel reopened on December 2016, unveiling a new element: Locanda Fasano, designed by Carolina Proto. Located next to the iconic Fasano Restaurant, Locanda Fasano is comprised of 10 new apartments and suites, adding to the existing 20 bungalows on the ground. Located next to the iconic Fasano Restaurant, the new apartments boast incredible views of the beautiful property, which also features new leisure areas such as a new lounge, pool, solarium and bar.
