LA PEDRERA IS THE PERFECT HUB FOR ADVENTURE AND BRISAS IS ITS MOST STYLISH CHOICE FOR A BASE. THERE IS MANY A DAY TRIP WITHIN REASONABLE DISTANCE, FOLLOWING OUR TOP RECOMMENDATIONS.

Coastal Rocha features long stretches of wide virgin sandy beaches, rugged and dramatic landscape– rocky crags and large sand dunes created by the winds from the South Atlantic Ocean, interspersed by rolling rangeland and sleepy fishing villages. The coastline also features a series of large freshwater lakes, which together with the pristine beaches offer a unique mix of undisturbed marine and fresh water ecosystems.

CABO POLONIO

Don’t miss this unique town by the sea, enjoy its beaches, small quaint restaurants (we recommend La Perla del Cabo), the large Sea Wolf colony and its historic Lighthouse. It is accessible by walking through the dunes (only for the most daring), or by 4x4 vehicles which, in the summer run on the hour all day. You can check the schedule upon arrival. The adventure begins the moment you leave your car behind and hop onto a big truck that takes you across the dunes to this remote outpost. As there are no trees or natural shade a hat, good sun protection and long sleeve shirts are a must.
