Hidden amongst the lush and verdant scenery of Colombia’s coffee producing region, a stay at Hacienda Bambusa is to meet the heart and soul of Colombia. This area is rich in breathtaking scenery, full of marvelous flora and fauna, inhabited by hardworking, fun- loving, open and friendly people who tend the agricultural richness that fills the valley.

Hacienda Bambusa is an ideal place to relax and explore, with miles of hiking and biking trails crossing the property. Bambusa also makes an ideal base from which to explore the Zona Cafetera (the Coffee Triangle) and coffee plantations.

Our hotel is ideal for families, couples, and nature lovers; for anyone who wants to enjoy the experience of a beautiful and peaceful environment.

It is not recommended for travelers who prefer lots of amenities, those looking for nightlife & access to restaurants and shopping centers.

LOCATION

The coffee region is the cradle of Colombian coffee. The beauty of this region is unbelievable thanks to the huge mountains that surround it, the fertility of its soils, and its natural richness, represented in a large biodiversity of flora and fauna. The cheerfulness and warmth of its people stand out to make travelers always feel welcome to visit these lands.

WEATHER & ALTITUDE

Being close to the Ecuador, temperature is almost the same all the year with an average of 70 F during the day. The Hacienda is located around 5.000 feet.

HOW TO GET HERE?

The closest city and airport is Armenia (AXM), 25min away from Bambusa. It has daily flights to/from Bogota.

Pereira is another city in the coffee region, with a bigger airport. It is located 1h30 away from Bambusa and additional to Bogota, has international flights.

Cali is the nearest big international airport, located 2h15 away.

We have 8 impeccably presented rooms, spacious and comfortable, ideally arranged for rest and relaxation, with a view of the swimming pool and/or the hotel gardens.

DINING:

The restaurant serves a delicate and delicious variety of haute cuisine dishes exclusively for our guests.

Many of the dishes are prepared with products that are cultivated on the hacienda.
