A descendant of an Anglo-argentine family established in Patagonia at the beginning of the nineteen hundreds, Diego Brand did his first casts at the age of fourteen in the well known Arroyo Pescado spring creek.  Diego worked for many local outfitters and built his own operation base on the Futaleufú (Grande) river -south boundary of Los Alerces National Park-. He has also traveled and fished in North America and Europe (England, Sweden). Diego joined El Aura's Lago Verde project since the beginning providing his experience, knowledge and love of his "home" rivers.
