FLORA & FAUNA
One of the characteristics at Cerro Guido is the sheer variety of aspects of its flora and fauna that can be captured in a single picture. Those who have been to this place before will never forget the opportunities that they had to observe the local flora and their surprising encounters with wild animals and birds.

HORSEBACK RIDING
Horses and dogs have been faithful companions of the people who live and work in Patagonia. Cerro Guido’s valleys, which offer an impressive view of the Torres del Paine, Sierra Baguales and the Las Chinas Valley, are seldom visited by outsiders. This landscape of verdant plains, ravines, prairies and mountains offers visitors an opportunity to see rheas, guanacos, hares, condors and foxes, as well as a huge variety of birds and even the occasional puma. There are also sites of great archaeological and historical interest set amidst amazing flora.

Our horses have been raised in this wild geography and are very well-trained. They can be ridden by anyone, even those with no riding experience. The horseback riding at Estancia Cerro Guido is unforgettable.

This is the main reason we want to maintain this tradition and introduce more people to the local riding culture. Our guests are invited to explore the rich geography of Patagonia on horseback in the company of an experienced baqueano.
