Cape Bougainvilla

On the north coast of East Falkland, accessible by all weather track, one and a half hours drive from Stanley, lies Cape Bougainvilla, one of the Falkland's best kept secrets.

Along the majestic, Cape Bougainville coastline of white sand beaches and rocky outcrops, with an abundance of wildlife concentrated on a small point and no more than a couple of minutes walk. It is home to Rockhopper and one or two Macaroni Penguins, King Cormorants, a small number of sea lions, Upland and Kelp Goose plus many other species of smaller birds. There is also a resident pair of Cassin's Falcon.
