Sheraton Colonia Golf & Spa Resort is conveniently located in the historical quarter of Colonia as part of the Real de San Carlos neighborhood. Our hotel is only 10 minutes away from the Historical Quarter and the shopping center. Only 45 minutes away from Buenos Aires by ferry, and a two-hour drive from Montevideo, our hotel has direct access to the beaches of the Río de la Plata.

Hotel Services The impressive Real Spa, extending over 1,250 square meters, has 17 massages treatment rooms. It offers innovative facial and body treatments and massage therapies such as sea algae wraps, relaxing crystal beach-therapy, floating therapy, reflexology, Shiatsu, and exfoliating treatments. Other features include an indoor seawater swimming pool, hydro-massage, Jacuzzi, Sauna, steam baths, and a fully equipped, state-of-the-art gym, aerobics center, and beauty parlor.
A game room, entertainment, and special program for children are also available.
The spectacular Real Golf, a par 35, nine-hole course (will be a par 70 course when the remaining nine holes are finished by the end of 2006) features a par 5 hole, two par 3 holes, and six par 4 holes. The course is situated amongst Uruguayan Eucalyptus trees, lakes, and incredibly beautiful countryside. The putting greens offer different levels and the landing features of the greens and fairways are excellent. The course also offers great views of Colonia's gorgeous sunsets that light up the sky like nowhere else. Four different levels of tee offs are located at every hole, including a professional tee off.
Our Business Center with its three state-of-the-art workstations, High Speed Internet Access, and secretarial services offers executives a spacious, well-equipped place to work.
There is also an outdoor swimming pool.
Restaurants & Lounges Restaurante Cava Real features a wine cellar with over 120 wines from all over the world, including the finest wines from Uruguay and Argentina. Seating is available for 120 with an outside deck available for you to dine and enjoy spectacular views of the Rio de la Plata and the golf course. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an international menu. The daily breakfast buffet features a wide assortment of fresh fruit, freshly baked breads, fresh Uruguayan yogurts, cheeses, dairy products, and hot entrees.
Offering fabulous views of the Real Golf course, the Lobby Bar offers seating for 60 with a light menu offering sandwiches, snacks and the famous Uruguayan sandwich "The Chivito". Live piano music and a wide screen TV are available for your entertainment. An afternoon tea service is available from 4 - 6pm, featuring our pastry chef's homemade desserts and canapés.
