Tennis: Two lighted tennis courts overlook the beach and ocean. Lessons are available. Swimming: Three heated pools — including a children’s pool — invite you to lounge in the shade of a palm tree while enjoying all the sights and sounds of the beach. Golf: Gavea Golf Club - The nearby Gavea course, opened in 1921, is both challenging and scenic with nine holes along the beach and another nine “in the jungle.” Health Club: Sheraton Rio Hotel & Towers offers a vast range of fitness equipment and classes, including cardio and weight training, sauna and steam-room, step Brazilian work-out, tae-bo, power stregtching, aqua aerobics, all monitored by bilingual, post-graduate instructors. Business Center: There are four independent work stations with computer, that provides high speed internet access, and printer. For your convenience, a meeting room for up to 10 people, with video-conference capabilities, a team of multi-lingual professional staff for office support, photocopy, scanner, binding and typing services, as well as cellular phone rental. Kid's Program: Children can enjoy the services of their own club, the SHERATOONS, a personalized recreational facility for children, ages 4 - 12, that includes a variety of entertainment activities from video games to a dressing room with costumes and make-up area. Here professionals specialized in youth recreation monitor and engage in fun activities while you can relax and enjoy the services the hotel has to offer. ACCOMMODATIONS: These comfortable rooms, each with an area of approximately 31square meters and located on low and high floors, are tastefully decorated to combine with the tropical surroundings and picturesque views. All rooms are equipped with 2 double, 1 Queen or 1 King size beds.
Sheraton Tower rooms - Ocean Front View: Located on the 4th floor, with approximately 45 square meters, these Deluxe Tower Rooms, offer breath taking views to the Ocean, tropical islands of Cagarra, Leblon and Ipanema beaches and are decorated in tones of cream and dark wood furniture. VIP service included: Private reception, butler service, Tower´s lounge serving breakfast and cocktails in the evening, pressing of 3 clothing items upon arrival. Rooms equipped with 2 twin or 1 king size bed. Smart Suite - Ocean View: Located on high floors, with approximately 31 square meters, these recently renovated Smart Rooms offer panoramic views to the Ocean, Leblon and Ipanema beaches and are decorated with an Art+Tech design in tones of cream and dark wood furniture. Ideally designed for the convenience of the business traveler, rooms are equipped with a king size bed, large working desk, fax, copier and printer, dual phone lines and data port connection. Junior Suite - Ocean View: Located from the 8th to the 24th floors, with approximately 35 square meters, these Junior Suites offer a breath taking ocean view and are decorated with light tones of green and burgundy with light wood furniture to combine with the tropical surroundings and views.
