  GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
M/C ENDEMIC

Itinerary C
Sunday-Thursday
5-days/4-nights

DAY 1 - SUNDAY
BALTRA AIRPORT – Las Bachas Beach

Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred from Baltra Airport to the M/C Endemic.

We will take you to the Endemic Catamaran once all of our passengers have arrived. After arrival on the cruise, we will check you in and give you general information for your cruise; you will then be taken to your suite.

Las Bachas is a beautiful white-sand beach on the northern coast of the Santa Cruz Island. Activities include walks and snorkeling near the beach. Sea turtles lay their eggs at the edge of the beach, and vegetation. You can also look for the rusted barge, a relic of the Second World War. In fact, “bachas” is a poor pronunciation of “barges,” two of which were wrecked offshore at that time: the locals mispronounced the name and it stuck.

DAY 2 - MONDAY
Witch Hill – Kicker Rock – Sea Lion Island

Witch Hill is a tuff cone hill located southwest of San Cristobal Island. The name comes from the bird known in English as the Vermilion Flycatcher. A zodiac ride will take passengers into amazing rock formations along the island shore. A white sand beach and crystal-clear waters are part of this enchanted location. Fantastic opportunity for snorkeling.

Visit Kicker Rock, an impressive volcanic geological formation and home to seabirds, curious sea lions, marine life such as fish, turtles, sharks, rays. The main attraction is snorkeling.

Then we'll go to Isla Lobos where we can observe a small population of blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, marine iguanas, and blue footed boobies nesting. Snorkeling with sea lions in this calm bay is a highlight of the excursion.

DAY 3 - TUESDAY
Osborn and Gardner Islets – Gardner Bay – Suarez Point

On Espaņola Island you will explore endemic wildlife such as the Hood-Mockingbird. This is the southernmost island in the Galapagos archipelago, and home to several wildlife species, including masked and blue-footed boobies. Spectacular views from the top of a cliff.

Osborn and Gardner Islets are amazing for underwater discovery. Snorkeling is a highlight of this visitor point.

Gardner Bay provides you an excellent beach for swimming. Around the small islets nearby, snorkelers will find lots of fish and sometimes turtles and sharks. The bay is also frequented by colonies of sea lions which like to swim with you.

Point Suarez is one of the most outstanding wildlife areas of the archipelago, with a long list of species found along its cliffs and sand or pebble beaches.

DAY 4 - WEDNESDAY

Santa Fe – South Plazas Islands

Santa Fe is one of the most entertaining destinations for shore excursions in the Galapagos Islands. It has two trail choices for visitors, one of which takes you to the tallest Opuntia cactus in the Galapagos. While the other trail takes you into the highlands where land iguanas can be seen. After a long walk, the opportunity to swim in calm waters or snorkel with playful sea lions will be tempting.

South Plaza has unique Sesuvium plants and Opuntia cactuses scattered across the landscape which provide some of the most interesting wildlife observations available in Galapagos. Land iguanas are easily seen from the trail, frequently under the shade of cactuses, waiting for a prickly pear to fall.
