The Hotel is located in the City of Cusco, a few blocks from the Main Square and surrounded by the main historical sites such as the Cathedral, Qoricancha, San Blas Neighborhood, amongst others.

The JW Marriott Cusco has a customized design and it was built over the old Colonial Convent of San Agustin from the 16th Century, which was declared National Cultural Heritage by the Peruvian Government. The Convent was carefully restored and the archeological remains from the Pre- Inca, Inca, Colonial, Republican and Contemporary periods can be observed giving the Hotel a unique character and so it offers an incomparable cultural experience for all guests.

The Hotel is the first Marriott property built 11,154 ft. above sea level. In addition to that, it has implemented a supplementary oxygen system in all of its 153 rooms.
