Situated in Ouro Preto's historical city close to many interesting attractions such as the Caza De Tonaz, Praca Tirandentes and Caza Da Opera, it is located in an imposing colonial mansion of the 18th century.

Inaugurated in October of 1988, it is constructed with the standards of the Brazilian colonial period.
