LOCATION
Legado Mítico Salta is located just five blocks away from the city’s traditional main square and its banking and commercial centre. The hotel is only twenty minutes away from Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport.

HOTEL DESCRIPTION
This mansion located in the historic quarter of the city, which once belonged to a patrician Salteñan family, had slowly faded into oblivion until the architecture firm Figueroa-Menéndez came to its rescue. After careful renovation, it has regained the charm of its original spirit.

At the entrance, guests are amazed by a noble staircase of carved wood and a splendid crowning skylight. In its cosy halls, they can breathe in the elegant style of the country. The important oil paintings create a special atmosphere, while a colonial wardrobe is now used to keep a small wine collection with a selection of high-altitude wines waiting for guests to taste them. The big library and the fireplace invite guests to enjoy the pleasures of quiet reading and pleasant conversation, just as they would do at home. A central patio lined with poplars lets light stream through all the rooms.

The warm and moving atmosphere combines classicism and refinement with the simplicity and informality of current trends. Every object, piece of furniture and painting has been chosen carefully for its emblematic significance; they softly reflect the Salteñan identity, which results from the combination of different cultures.

ACCOMMODATIONS
All eleven rooms open to balconies or inner patios and seduce with their amplitude and comfort. With appealing names such as “The Caudillo”, “The Kolla”, “The Sculptress”, “The Wichi” or “The Poet”, they invite guests to reveal their mythical secrets. They evoke characters who led the way in different areas with their luminous performances, as well as those silent peoples who wove their individual existence into the weft of the province’s collective identity.
