ABOUT THE FINCA ADALGISA Boutique Hotel and Winery - in their own words:

Finca Adalgisa is an early 20^th century manor house and vineyard estate in the heart of the premier wine-growing region of Argentina. It is a charming family home converted three years ago by Gabriela Fulotti (a third generation Argentinian/Italian) into the first boutique hotel and winery in Mendoza. 

Although secluded and private, it is conveniently located within 20 minutes drive of Mendoza and is in walking distance of a thriving village community with plenty of local shops and restaurants.

   

Our guests are warmly welcomed as new friends and our home is your home. We have a relaxing and informal environment where things can be arranged spontaneously. The region is well known for the popular Ruta de los Vinos (Route of the Wines) and includes our own wine tasting evenings.

 

Our winery and guided tours of the area and various sports activities are very popular.

 

ACCOMMODATIONS:

THE WINERY & LOUNGE:

At the Finca, we have our own, small but nice and cosy winery. Every night from 18.00 we open up and invite our guests to join us in winery for good glass of wine guided by some fine cheeses and salamis.

 

ABOUT THE VINEYARD & WINE:

The vineyard was planted in 1916 and consists of 100% Malbec vines. The total surface of the Finca is 2 hectares and slightly more than 1 hectare consists of vines. The harvest is done by hand and we harvest every year in April.  The average production is about 6000kg per hectare and we elaborate our wine by the classic method.  The total production per harvest results into about 8000 bottles. We elaborate 30% of our production in French oak barrels and let it mature for 12 months.  All this finally results in our Finca Adalgisa Malbec
