Must Do's

Do allow time in your itinerary to take a tour of the city to see the highlights of Lima before moving on to other destinations within Peru. You'll visit:

• the Plaza de Armas in the historical heart of the city which has been declared a World Heritage by Unesco.
• the Government Palace on the north side of the Plaza, built on the site of Pizarro's original palace.
• the Cathedral, reconstructed several times after earthquakes with its impressive massive columns and a small chapel dedicated to Pizarro where his skeleton lies in a sealed coffin.
• Among other places of interest, you=ll also visit the new Lima - the garden suburbs of San Isidro, Miraflores and the coast of Lima.
