Just a two-hour drive from the bright lights of Rio de Janeiro, there is an oasis of calm awaiting guests at the Insólito Boutique Hotel. Nestled in a rocky hillside, with stunning views of Ferradura Beach, the solar-heated Insólito blends perfectly into its natural surroundings thanks to the skills of celebrated architect Otavio Raja Gabaglia.

Insólito Boutique Hotel & Spa combines a fusion of art, decor and culture. Birthed from excellence and residing in the natural beauty of Armação de Buzios. The hotel is a celebration of Brazilian culture, and each area has been carefully designed according to the unique history of our nation.

Luxury combines with nature and the exquisite setting is an astounding example of the philosophy of Insólito. Emmanuelle Meeus de Clermont Tonnerre designed each detail that encompasses our interiors, and the landscaping and lighting are the work of renowned Brazilian artists Anouck Barcat and Maneco Quinderó. Insólito is more than a Boutique Hotel, with every care taken in its creation and having the Brazilian soul that embodies and exemplifies the essence as the Insólito Handcraft Hotel.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The hotel’s twenty rooms are full of arts and crafts from famous and local artisans, and socially responsible companies. Most rooms have a veranda with a whirlpool and panoramic ocean views, while the suites also come with a lounge and bar where guests can mix their own cachaça drinks.

A GALERIA
Devised to unite an infusion of French cuisine with traditional Brazilian tastes, A Galeria is an unmissable destination in Buzios. Binomial restaurant and art gallery. With exhibitions of contemporary works of art by artists from all over the world. The location is not only esteemed, it is unique, exclusive and enchanting! The panoramic view of the bay of Ferradura is breathtaking. A Galeria offers light and refined cuisine, with each dish prepared with care and elegance; vital for good taste and flavor!

THE BAR
The Hotel Bar invites you into a unique setting, with a stunning view and perfectly prepared cocktails by our mixologist. You will be enchanted by our exotic caipirinhas made with apricot paste and champagne or balsamic vinegar. The wine cellar adjoined to the bar has a countless variety of labels from various parts of the world. Alongside wines and cocktails we also have unique and original Snacks menu.

EDEN BEACH LOUNGE
The reputable Beach Lounge is located between the beach and garden, open to the public and with a daily music program. 3000 m² facing Ferradura beach. The specialized gastronomy is dedicated to seafood and fresh grilled fish prepared in a beautiful Argentine parrilla. 

SPA & RELAX
The smell of oils mixes with the sea breeze. The sound of the waves seems to be part of a symphony of peace. In this environment where landscape, color, sound and smell complement each other, you are invited to indulge in a sensory journey through massage and treatments carried out by professionals trained in eastern and western techniques. Providing a perfect union of mind, body and spirit. Situated in an esteemed area of the hotel, facing the sea, in the Insólito Spa our guests are in more than just good hands, but perfect hands.

LEISURE
Insólito has two boats available for use by guests that can access over twenty neighboring beaches on the peninsula:

• The Rush boat - 30 feet, capacity 8 people - is ideal for tours around the principle beaches in Búzios, where guests can also take part in fishing or picnics.
• The other boat, Dragos – 19 feet, capacity 4 people – is used more for water-skiing, wakeboarding and “bóia-cross” which is a variation of water-skiing.

In the social area, Insólito has a sweet water pool, a salt water pool, a dry sauna, a steam sauna, Jacuzzi and Ofurô.

And when guests want to mingle, they can enjoy drinks in the pool bar, or dine at the 3000-square-meter beach lounge, which has become “the place to be” for locals and guests alike.

There are also bicycles which are available for use by the guests.
