ABOUT PARADOR SANTA MARIA LA REAL - in their own words:

The house that lodges the Parador Santa Maria La Real dates to the second half of the 18th century. It was built over the house and gardens of the Real Audiencia de Charcas Palace, the highest judicial authority and administration of this part of the Imperio Espanol in America.

With special care, we have rescued many of the antique pieces of furniture that decorate each of the rooms.  That way, our guests can live all the splendor of the age of Virreynal in South America.
