About Explora "Finca Rancagua":
Finca Rancagua is located near the village of Cachi, which means "salt" in the Quechua language. This village is located 157 km from Salta and is the capital of the province and was the original main village in the area. The nearby Calchqui River is also salty. The Calchquies Valley has an imposing landscape with traces of the Atacaman Indian culture and other pre-Columbian cultures that once inhabited this region. The Cachi and Molinos villages here are important testaments to Spanish colonization.
The Finca is a re-conditioned historic house. There are only 3 rooms, each with a stunning view of the Calchaquies Valley. There is a porch for alfresco dining, a kitchen, living room-dining room area.
