ABOUT GRACE CAFAYATE - in their own words:
Grace Cafayate is a luxury hotel, spa and residential villas development in Calchaquí Valley in the northwest of Argentina, just south of Salta. For the first time Grace Hotels brings its distinctive elegance and simplicity to a boutique hotel in Argentina.
 
The hotel forms part of ‘La Estancia de Cafayate', a secluded 1,360 acre residential and sporting estate in the heart of an area famed for its spectacular scenery, outstanding wines and equestrian sports. Grace Cafayate comprises a main hotel building and a further 20 Grace branded residential villas for sale. This luxury accommodation in Argentina is complemented by ‘Muse by Jonathan Cartwright’, a fine dining restaurant with open kitchen, together with a wine and cigar bar. There is also a swimming pool and a luxurious Grace Spa.

The architecture at this luxury retreat embodies the usual discreet charm of Grace Hotels and, as with other hotels in the group, great care has been taken to pick up design cues from local traditions and to echo the dramatic surroundings of Cafayate and the Calchaquí Valley.

MUSE RESTAURANT
Muse Restaurant Contemporary throughout, though staying true to its local surroundings with rustic colors to match the dramatic landscape, Muse by Jonathan Cartwright is an experience to savor on every occasion. The fine dining menu combines modern European cuisine with dishes that pay homage to many of the local culinary traditions of Argentina, featuring the country’s finest beef, lamb, goat and llama. A carefully curated wine menu features a selection of the best locally sourced wines, drawn from the far corners of this wine enthusiasts’ paradise. Expertly trained staff will be on hand to offer advice on creating the perfect food and wine match - On milder evenings, enjoy dining on the restaurant’s spacious terrace, offering the perfect spot to witness dusk turn to night over the Calchaquí Valley.
 
This is the second Muse restaurant to be created by Grace Hotels’ Group Chef de Cuisine, Jonathan Cartwright, following his success at Vanderbilt Grace in Newport, Rhode Island

THE RESTAURANT
The Restaurant’s open kitchen, giving guests an insight into the workings of the talented and enthusiastic team, is overseen by Executive Chef Javier Robles, who joined Grace Cafayate with over 12 years’ experience working in kitchens all over Argentina. Javier uses his long-standing relationships with the best local producers to deliver this inspiring culinary offering, guaranteed to have many guests return time and again.
 
Breakfast is served à la carte, from 7am to 11am, and features international favorites as well as local specialties.
 
Lunch is a relaxed affair at the Restaurant. Served from midday until 4pm, the menu comprises light fare including salads, delectable pasta dishes and specialities from the northern region

WINE BAR
Wine Bar A haven for wine lovers, the local area surrounding Cafayate is most known for its Torrontes, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. CIGAR LOUNGE
Cigar Lounge Cigar aficionados will appreciate the selection of finest cigars in this cozy lounge located adjacent to the wine bar. A place to sit back and while away the hours in tranquility, sinking into plush sofas or enjoying a game of chess. A menu of light bar snacks is available

POOL BAR & GRILL
With northern Argentina’s year-round mild climate, time by the poolside is to be savored. Combine this with the tradition of barbeque-grilling the finest meats and you will be unable to resist the chance to enjoy relaxed, al fresco dining. Freshly grilled vegetables combined with local cheeses, the best Argentinean beef burgers and grilled shrimp with a lemon twist are just some of the dishes to enjoy whilst admiring the expanse of nature. An inspired collection of classic and contemporary cocktails is served at the bar, including the Grace signature cocktail featuring a subtle blend of apple juice, pear purée, lemon juice and premium vodka with a hint of lemongrass for a refreshing and sophisticated drink to sip as the sun goes down

Grace Cafayate’s spa and fitness centre comprises four treatment rooms, each with private shower and magnificent views of the vineyards and mountains to the east, plus a double treatment suite (80m²) featuring two massage beds, a sauna, whirlpool, private hammam, double walk-in shower and private terrace with shower and sun loungers. The heated indoor pool, with integrated whirlpool and flooded with natural daylight, offers views of the mountains to the north and east. Guests will also find a hammam within the relaxation area

The gym is fully equipped with the latest technology, perfect for an early morning workout while sunrise illuminates the Calchaquí Valley

GRACE SUITES  (2)
The Grace Suites represent the hotel’s most spacious and luxurious accommodation, and represent a tribute to the understated elegance that has become a hallmark of Grace Hotels. Both Grace Suites are 79 square meters with an 18 square meter terrace each, and are inter-connecting to Deluxe Rooms to offer the option of becoming two bedroom suites. They both enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views towards the north and east of distant snow-capped peaks and the Calchaqui valley stretching out for miles. Meticulously planned, our Grace Suites’ exclusive amenities and facilities make every guest stay truly special. A king-sized bed takes pride of place in the stylish bedroom and the suite is spacious enough to accommodate an additional guest if required

DELUXE ROOMS (4 Sunset, 6 Sunrise)
Our ten hotel Deluxe rooms are on both floors of the hotel and all enjoy sweeping views of the Calchaqui mountains and vineyards of the Estancia. Between 40 and 42 square metres in size, two Deluxe rooms have balconies for guests to enjoy the spectacular sunrise and sunsets. There are both twin and king-bedded doubles, with space to accommodate an additional guest if required. Two Deluxe rooms connect to the Grace Suites. We categorize the Deluxe rooms between Sunrise (east-facing with uninterrupted views of the vineyards and mountains) and Sunset (west-facing with views of the resort and mountains). From the finest Argentinean mattresses to the most luxurious Egyptian cotton, guests are guaranteed a memorable stay in our Deluxe rooms.
