ITINERARY (Subject to change without notice):

Day 1 - Wednesday - Depart USA:  Depart Miami, New York or Los Angeles on overnight flight.

Day 2 - Thursday - Arrive Buenos Aires:  Morning arrival. Meet and transfer to the HUB Porteno, in the heart of fashionable Recoleta for 4 nights with buffet breakfast daily.  Afternoon city tour of Buenos Aires, often called "The Paris of South America".  Drive down the widest boulevard on earth, 9 de Julio, past the Obelisk commemorating 400 years of history, past the Colon Opera House and many other places of interest in this sophisticated European style city.

Day 3 - Friday - Buenos Aires:  Today you will enjoy a day in the country at Estancia Santa Susana.  Located an hour's drive from the city, Estancia Santa Susana sits on 3000 acres and is mainly dedicated to agricultural activities.  The original house is today a small museum and the immediate grounds offer "a day on the pampas" experience.  Visit the home/museum, enjoy a traditional Argentine BBQ lunch followed by a show of tango music & dancing and a Gaucho "bolleadores" display.  Then move outside for Gaucho "games" including the "ring race" and a traditional horse demonstration "Entrevero de Tropillas".  You can also go horseback riding or take a carriage ride on the grounds.  Late afternoon return to Buenos Aires. (B/L)

Day 4 - Saturday - Buenos Aires:  This morning you will enjoy a cooking workshop.  Meet with a Chef who will share with you the secrets, passed down through generations, of preparing the typical “Empanada Argentinas” (Argentine turnovers) and “Pastelitos” (pastries).  Learn these techniques through a hands-on experience using traditional products and then savor the tasty results!   Afternoon at leisure to explore at your own pace.  This evening you will enjoy the Rojo Tango Experience with dinner and tango show. (B/DS)

Day 5 - Sunday - Buenos Aires:  This morning you will visit the historic district of San Telmo and its Sunday outdoor antique flea market.  There is often impromptu tango dancing and there are sidewalk cafes to sit and people watch.  Visiting San Telmo on a Sunday is an excellent way to shop and spend time with the "Portenos" as the residents of Buenos Aires are called.  Continue on to the traditional neighborhood of Palermo Viejo, now one of the city’s most chic spots boasting many restaurants and designer shops.  Visit “Lo de Joaquin Alberdi”, a boutique wine shop to taste a selection of Argentine wines and cheeses with a complete explanation from a sommelier. Following the tasting lunch will be served across the street from the wine shop at the intimate “Cabernet Restaurant”.  Late afternoon return transfer to your hotel. (B/L)

Day 6 - Monday - Buenos Aires-Mendoza:  Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Mendoza, the wine capital of Argentina.  Meeting upon arrival by staff from Cavas Wine Lodge, a Relais & Chateaux property set in the middle of a vineyard.  During your stay at Cavas Wine Lodge, in addition to fine accommodations and breakfast at the lodge, you can choose daily activities that can include visits to three selected wineries in the Lujan de Cuyo area and two sport activities such as rafting and horseback riding.  Lunch is included every day either at Cavas, at a winery or as a picnic in the vineyards.  And each evening you will enjoy a la carte dinners at such outstanding restaurants as La Bourgogne Vistalba at Carlos Pulenta's winery, Francis Mallman's 1824 inside Bodega Escorihuela, Club Tapiz from chef Maza Casa and Bistro M at Park Hyatt.  In addition you'll enjoy complimentary access to the fitness center, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi and pool area, and a one hour massage. (B/L/D)

Day 7 - Tuesday - Mendoza:  Today is yours to design with Cavas Wine Lodge.  Visit wineries or enjoy a sport activity, languish over lunch at a vineyard and tonight explore gourmet dining at one of the selected restaurants. (B/L/D)

Day 8 - Wednesday - Mendoza:  Another day to explore, wine and dine at your own pace. (B/L/D)

Day 9 - Thursday - Mendoza-Buenos Aires-Bariloche:  Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires to connect with your flight across the pampas to the edge of the Andes and the summer/winter resort town of San Carlos de Bariloche.  Meeting and transfer to the El Casco Art Hotel for 3 night stay with Breakfast daily. (B)

Day 10 - Friday - Bariloche:  This morning's scenic 50 km drive skirts Lake Nahuel Huapi and climbs through a forest of coihue trees, a native evergreen, offering views of the Andean peaks.  The road then winds along Lake Moreno to a panoramic point which offers breathtaking vistas of Lake Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, Victoria Island and the Andes.  Then continue driving along the lake to the chairlift to ascend Cerro Campanario for even more spectacular views of the lake and surrounding Andes.   In the afternoon you're free to explore at your own pace.  Bariloche is full of boutiques, chocolate shops, restaurants and tea houses. (B)

Day 11 - Saturday - Bariloche:   At leisure to explore this charming resort at your own pace.  The Llao Llao has a golf course and a spa or you can arrange optional visits in the area such as a motor launch excursion on Lake Nahuel Huapi or perhaps a drive along the Seven Lakes route.  Tonight you are off to Los Juncos Lake House, a completely restored Patagonian jewel, for a traditional Patagonian culinary experience.  Start in the kitchen where you will don an apron, yours to take as a souvenir to remember your culinary adventures in Argentina.  As you learn the details of the recipe you’ll gain a historical perspective on the origins of the ingredients and the products to be used.  Enjoy a cocktail and appetizers as you help prepare the meal.  Settle into the dining room as the Chef adds the  final touches.  Depending on the season, options may include Tenderloin Empanadas with vegetables; Lentil stew with bacon, tomatoes and red prosciutto; Lamb shoulder in a roll filled with dried tomatoes and rosemary; Chop Suey lamb sliced and cooked with vegetables, sesame oil and soy sauce with white rice; or in the summer season you may enjoy trout on the barbecue grill with grilled vegetables. (B/D)

Day 12 - Sunday - Bariloche - Buenos Aires:  Morning at leisure.  Hotel check-out is 1 PM and afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Buenos Aires.  Upon arrival at the domestic airport, meeting and transfer from Aeroparque Airport to Ezeiza International Airport for your international departure flight. (B).

Day 13 - Monday - Arrive Miami:  Morning arrival and make connections to your home city.
